On June 27, West Fire hosted a seminar and CEU Class on the FAAST Air Aspirating Smoke Detector by System Sensor. Luis Barros, Product Engineer and Tom Saldamarco from System Sensor were on hand to lead the class in application, system design, and programming. Utilizing the PipeIQ Software attendees were taught how to properly layout a system for several applications including smoke detection, early smoke detection, and very early smoke detection principles. Proving the fact that you can never build big enough, our Training Room was filled. All comments from our guests were extremely positive, and all asked when the next seminar would be held. Thank you to Luis, Tom and System Sensor for leading our seminar. We are planning on holding a number of industry related seminars in the future. Stay tuned!
When our old telephone system began to give us trouble Monarch Telecom was able to keep it running until we had a plan to replace it. They assisted in determining what our requirements were and helped us to design our new replacement system. They did a great job and we are very happy with the result. During the switchover we essentially were not without phone service at all.
Recently Monarch Telecom included a profile of our company in their newsletter – here is a link to that article: http://www.monarchti.com/west-fire-systems/
Thanks to our friends Steve, Gary and Susie at Monarch for all of their help avoiding a costly shutdown of our system.
On January 6th 2014 construction began on our new Training/Conference room at our 53 Pixley Industrial Parkway Facility. Today we are pleased to report the completion of that project, which represents the first phase of reorganizing our facility. The second phase will be renovating the existing Conference Room to add additional offices to accommodate our planned Administrative staff growth.
We have constructed this room to highlight the latest in smoke detection technology from System Sensor. The FAAST air aspiration sampling system provides early warning of smoke, is simple to install and maintain, and is practically invisible in the room.
Also installed in the room is an Axis IP Surveillance camera, managed through a Salient Systems Network Video Server. The crisp, clear image of an Axis camera is unsurpassed by any other, and the ease of searching a video database to locate a recorded situation is infinitely easier with the Salient NVR.

We are in the process of updating our phone system and will be experiencing some loss of communications. We apologize for this inconvenience as we make the transition over to the new system, and apologize in advance for any difficulty in contacting our office. Our staff is working very hard to make this transition as seamless as possible, but realize that it may be difficult for you to reach us. This change is long overdue, and appreciate your patience as we make these changes.
